How we're paid — and what it does not buy

Most referral and placement services are paid by the provider you end up choosing. Most tell you that in a footer link, if at all. This is the whole picture, on its own page.

"Nobody paid us to send you there."

Do providers pay you?
No. Skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospices, assisted living communities, board and care homes, physicians, and every other provider pay Prime Care Link nothing to be included, listed, contacted, or recommended. There is no membership, no listing fee, no per-referral fee, and no percentage of anything.
Do families pay you?
Today, no. Our navigation support is offered at no cost to families and to the professionals who refer them. If that ever changes, the change is published on this page before it takes effect — never after — and it will never involve a provider paying on the family's behalf.
How do you choose which options to show?
By fit: the person's needs as described to us, location, timing, coverage as we understand it, family preferences, and whether the provider is currently licensed and in good standing at the state's own registry. Money is not an input, because there is none.
Are providers who have no relationship with you included?
Yes. The options we organize include providers we have never spoken to, when they fit. We tell you which is which.
What do you tell me before a referral goes out?
How the options were assembled, whether any provider on the list has a relationship with us and what it is, why a particular provider was included, and anything that would end a provider's inclusion. In writing.
Do you own or have a financial interest in any provider?
Any ownership or financial interest that Prime Care Link or its leadership holds in a provider is disclosed to you at the moment that provider is recommended, in writing, before you act on it.

Why we built it this way

When the provider pays the referral service, the family is the product, and a list of "recommended" options can quietly become a list of whoever paid. We built Prime Care Link the other way around, so the sentence every family and every discharge planner wants to hear is one we can actually say.

  • Providers pay nothing
  • Options include providers with no relationship to us
  • Every relationship disclosed before you act
  • Changes published before they take effect, never after
